Support the Work
Because I believe that we all should have access to what we need, I do my best to make my work available to all who need it regardless of ability to compensate me. Alongside this ethic, I rely on the generosity and integrity of people like you to fill in the gaps created by the inherent inequities of capitalism. Join my Patreon to offer monthly financial support, or make a one time donation as you are able. If you or your organization are interested in sponsoring a community grief ritual or offering a scholarship to increase access to my work, please contact me. I am so grateful for any and all support.

more on why I solicit donations and invite collective resourcing of my work
Because the legacies of colonialism, enslavement, and systemic oppression have tilted the scales of access to care and healing against indigenous people everywhere, people of the global majority at large, people who are gendered outside of white cis maleness, people who are undocumented, and people with varied physical and cognitive abilities, I find it necessary to account for this when engaging in financial exchange. I want my offerings to be utilized by people most often denied access, so I create greater access for those people by how I set prices and structure exchange. My rates are often situated on a scale that allows you to pay at your level of access on that scale. I often will offer for certain populations to pay by donation while others pay on a specified scale. It’s important to me that I get creative to increase accessibility to my work. I never turn anyone away because of lack of resources, and I continually invite donations widely to ensure that my needs are met and to cover the rates of people who are unable to pay. There are more than enough resources to go around if we maintain a culture of sharing and collective resourcing.
In any case, I make community offerings whether I am guaranteed full payment or not because it is my work to do. I rely on the collective care of people who have greater access to resources to support my work by offering monthly donations on Patreon, donations in exchange for grief ritual attendance or other offerings, and one-time donations. Please consider this as you explore my work and share about it with others; encourage others who are able to support my work financially. My work is primarily funded by generous people of integrity like you, not by direct exchange of services. This is what it can look like to interrupt the habitual patterns of capitalism that limit access and contribute to overexertion and burnout.
